Built by a shop owner,
for shop owners.
STACKS is the platform for phone repair shops, phone stores, and device resellers that handles what a POS does not: your website and leads, inventory and IMEI checks, pricing, buyback, listings, messaging, and AI-run ads.
It is not a POS. It syncs both ways with the one you already run, including RepairDesk and MyRepairApp. It was founded by JJ Brown, who has been doing web work for cellular shops longer than Apple has been making iPhones.
JJ Brown
Founder of STACKS. Opened HookUp Cellular in Phoenix in 2007, moved into parts and LCD buyback, then spent more than ten years as the website guy phone repair shops turned to in the Facebook groups. STACKS is everything he kept building for those shops, in one platform.

2006
Building websites for shops before the iPhone existed
A year before the first iPhone shipped, JJ was already building websites for other cellular shops. That is where the STACKS founding date comes from, and why the site says 20+ years in cellular.

2007
HookUp Cellular, Phoenix
JJ opened his own store, HookUp Cellular, in Phoenix. Sales, activations, and repairs across the counter, with every problem a shop owner has today: pricing, intake, inventory, and getting the phone to ring.

Next
Parts and LCD buyback
From the store came the buyback side: buying parts and LCDs from other shops, grading them, pricing them against a moving market, and reselling. The price sheet and grading problems STACKS solves today were learned here, with real money on the line.

10+ years
The website guy in the repair groups
For more than a decade JJ was the person phone repair shops in the Facebook groups sent their website questions to. Rebuilds, SEO, booking, buyback pages, and a lot of free advice. Most of the reviews on this site are from those shops.

Now
STACKS
All of that became one platform: the website and leads, inventory and IMEI checks, buy and sell pricing, buyback, listings, messaging, and AI-run ads, built to sit beside the POS a shop already runs. The free consulting never stopped.
We love POS companies. We integrate with them.
Your POS runs the register. STACKS runs the rest: the site that brings customers in, the checks and pricing that protect the buy, the inventory and listings that move devices out, and the messages and ads that keep the phone ringing. Actions record in both systems.

Free consulting comes first. Book a call, bring your questions, and leave with a plan whether you sign up or not.
