Device buyback website options: widget, full site, or hosted platform
A phone shop has three ways to buy devices online: a buyback widget that renders into the website it already has, a dedicated buyback website, or a hosted platform such as Reusely. The widget is the cheapest and keeps everything on your domain; the full site is for shops where buyback is the business; the hosted platform trades your domain and a higher price for a packaged setup.

Option 1: a widget on the site you already have
If your site already ranks and brings in repair customers, do not replace it. Add buyback to it. The STACKS Buyback Widget renders the quote flow into your existing pages: the customer picks the device and condition, gets an instant quote from your Live Price Sheets, and checks out with a shipping label or an appointment. Kiosk mode runs the same flow on a tablet at the counter so staff quote the same number the site does. Payouts and order status are on your URL, and the full admin is on a subdomain.
There is no launch fee for the widget, because there is nothing to build: it goes on the site you have. Current plans are on the widget page.
Option 2: a dedicated buyback website
When buyback is the business, or you want to rank for "sell my iPhone" searches in your area, you need pages for it: a page per device, a clear offer, and the flow on your domain. The Buyback Stack is that site, built for you, with automated offer pricing from live market data and the local SEO to be found for buyback searches. It carries a one-time launch fee because a site gets built.
Option 3: a hosted buyback platform
Platforms such as Reusely package a buyback storefront and operations tooling. They are a reasonable fit for larger operations that want one vendor for the whole buyback stack and are fine with the price tiers that come with it. The trade-offs to check before you sign: whose domain the quote flow runs on, what the tiers cost at your volume, and what their documentation actually says is included. We keep a cited comparison at Reusely vs STACKS and a plain-English look at what to look for in a Reusely alternative, including their current pricing.
The two things that decide it
Where does the quote happen? If it happens inside an iframe or on the vendor's domain, your site gets none of the SEO credit. The STACKS widget is not an iframe. How do prices stay current? A buyback site with stale prices overpays or loses the customer. Live Price Sheets drive the site, the kiosk and the staff from one Google sheet.
Which one for which shop
| Shop | Pick | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Repair shop that also buys phones | Buyback Widget | Keeps the site that already ranks; adds buyback with no launch fee. |
| Buyback is the main business | Buyback Stack | Device pages and local SEO for buyback searches, flow on your domain. |
| Multi-location operation wanting one vendor | Compare hosted platforms against STACKS | Check domain, tiers and what is documented before you commit. |
Whatever you pick, run an IMEI check at intake so a blacklisted phone never becomes inventory. That is covered in inventory and IMEI tracking alongside your POS.
Questions shops ask about this
What is the cheapest way to add buyback to my existing website?+
A widget that renders into the pages you already have. The STACKS Buyback Widget does this with no launch fee: instant quotes, cart, shipping labels, appointments, kiosk mode and payouts on your own URL, with the admin on a subdomain.
Is the STACKS Buyback Widget an iframe?+
No. It is code that renders into your page, so quotes and orders happen on your domain and count for your SEO. That is the main technical difference from most buyback widgets.
Is STACKS a Reusely alternative?+
Yes, for shops that want buyback on their own domain with live price sheets, no launch fee for the widget, and the rest of STACKS (IMEI checks, inventory, listings, messaging) around it. We keep a cited feature-by-feature comparison at stacks.tech/reusely-vs-stacks.
How do buyback prices stay current?+
Live Price Sheets: a Google price sheet service that drives the quotes, so you update a sheet and the site, the kiosk and the staff all quote the same number. It is included with the Buyback Widget and the Buyback Stack.
