How to get phone repair leads without an agency

Phone repair leads come from four places you can own yourself: a Google Business Profile that gets posted to, a website with a page for every repair and a booking form on it, messages answered within minutes, and ads built from your real prices. Do them in that order, and track calls and forms so you know which one is working.

Why agencies struggle with repair shops

A repair shop lead is a person with a broken phone, today, within a few miles. The decision happens in minutes on a phone screen. Agencies are built for long sales cycles and big budgets. What a shop needs is boring and local: show up for the search, make booking easy, answer fast, and keep the phone ringing with posts and offers. None of that needs a retainer.

1. Google Business Profile, posted to every week

The profile is the map listing that shows for "phone repair near me". It is free. The shops that win it have accurate hours, real photos, reviews that get answered, and posts. Posts are the part everyone skips. A weekly post about a repair you did, a price you offer, or a device that just came out keeps the profile active and gives Google fresh signals.

STACKS posts to Google Business Profile, Facebook and Instagram from one place, per location, so a multi-store shop does not do this four times.

2. A page for every repair, with the booking on it

"iPhone 14 screen repair" and "Galaxy S23 battery" are different searches. One page that says "we fix phones" ranks for neither. A page per device and repair, with the price, the time it takes, and a booking form rendered into the page, ranks for the search and converts it in one step. See why the booking has to be part of the page and not an iframe.

If you do not have a site yet, a Starter STACK is one fast page on your domain with tracking built in, live in under 24 hours. A full Repair Stack is the site with the device pages and the POS sync.

3. Answer messages in minutes

A lot of repair leads never call. They message on Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp and go with whoever answers first. If those messages live in four apps, somebody misses one every day. Comm Stacks puts Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp and eBay messages in one inbox and can answer with your prices and hours when you are busy or closed.

4. Ads, last, built from real prices

Ads work for repair when the ad shows a real price for a real repair and the click lands on the page for that repair. That is why ads come last: the page has to exist first. Self Driving Ads builds and runs Meta ads from the prices and reviews already on your site, on your own ad account. It is in closed beta. Read what it costs next to an agency.

Track it or you are guessing

Every call and form fill should carry a source: which page, which post, which ad. STACKS tracks calls, texts and forms on your own domain and keeps a customer ledger that follows the device, so next month you know whether the leads came from the profile, the device pages or the ads, and you spend accordingly.

Questions shops ask about this

What is the cheapest source of repair leads?+

Your Google Business Profile and a website with a page for each repair you do. Both are free to maintain once set up, and both rank for the "near me" searches that bring walk-ins.

Do I need to run ads to get repair leads?+

No. Ads are the fastest lever, not the only one. Most shops should fix the site and the profile first, so ad clicks land on pages that convert. Then ads become worth paying for.

What should I track?+

Calls, form fills and bookings, by source. If you cannot say which page or post produced a lead, you cannot decide what to do more of. Call tracking and form tracking on your own domain solve this.

How does STACKS help with leads?+

STACKS builds the SEO site with native booking, tracks every call and form, posts to Google Business Profile, Facebook and Instagram, answers messages in one inbox, and, in closed beta, builds and runs Meta ads from your real prices. The leads land in your POS through two-way sync.
